3 Keys to Making Appointments

  • Name
  • Say it like a statement not a question. This prevents the client from going on defense and immediately recognizing that they don’t know you
  •  Say their name frequently! It’s their favorite word
  • Tone and pace
  •  Low and slow like good BBQ. You want to sound extremely calm almost like a minimum wage government employee
  • Ask Questions
  •  NEVER stop talking without asking a question. Questions keep you in control of the conversation. Ask about their schedule and the lead.

Common Beginner Mistakes

  • Call your upline after your 3rd contact -- get coaching in the game, not after the game is over
  • Call let it ring 4 times, Hang up, wait 4 seconds hit redial.
  • Call each number 3 times back to back to back -- pick up ratio goes up 30%
  • Do NOT leave messages -- if you can't get someone, DOORKNOCK
  • Schedule blocks of time to make calls ----Min. 45 Dials/hr
  • Make sure you track your Activity –Dials, Contacts, and Appts Set.
  • Don’t Quit and YOU WILL SUCCEED!
